Toronto Speedo runners brave snowstorm for SickKids
There was a snowstorm on Saturday in Toronto, making it a perfect day for a run in a speedo.
About 70 runners slipped off their tights and braved one of the coldest days of the year during the 8th annual Santa Speedo Run. The legion of red swimsuited brave souls did a 3K loop around the Yorkville, raising more than $32,000 for the Toys and Games Fund at SickKids Hospital.
The event started in 2005 and has raised nearly $250,000.
