The Olympians are two of Canada’s top athletes and both are coming off strong performances in Rio. Warner won bronze in the decathlon, an event with 10 disciplines, and Bishop finished fourth in the women’s 800m in a national record of 1:57.02. The two are Nike-sponsored athletes and two-time Olympians.

At the London-hosted awards show, Bishop and Warner introduced Canadian country music artist and former professional hockey player Chad Brownlee. The 32-year-old Kelowna, B.C. native won a CCMA award in 2011 as a rising star.
