December 23rd is the holiday of Festivus. The holiday was created by the fictional Seinfeld character Frank Costanza in an effort to boycott the commercialism of the holiday season.

Festivus celebrates with feats of strength, the airing of grievances and an aluminum pole instead of a tree.
