Canadian sprinter Aaron Brown broke the 20-second barrier for a second-place finish in 19.98 seconds, just behind Ramil Guliyev of Turkey at at Oslo Diamond League yesterday.
19.98! Can someone get this monkey off my back?!? Been a LONG time coming, thank you for all the love and support. Thank you Oslo! Next stop: Stockholm ? @Diamond_League @AthleticsCanada @TeamCanada

Brown has never run the 200m faster than he did yesterday in Oslo. Two years ago he ran 20.0, and he was determined to break that barrier this week. Brown hopes to improve his time even further when he competes again at Stockholm Diamond League on Sunday.
Canadian hurdler Sage Watson also had an excellent day in Oslo yesterday, with a third-place finish in the 400m hurdles. Her time was 54.55, a season’s best for Watson and very close to the Canadian record of 54.39 set by Rosey Edeh in 1996.
