World Athletics had to bounce back, so made a bold change, departing from the conventional design to create a medal that beautifully represents both the host city, Budapest and the essence of these games.

Enhancing the allure of these stunning medals, the cases are ingeniously fashioned from excess material sourced from the race track at the National Athletics Centre—a touch of creativity adding to their uniqueness.
