Spring race season is in full swing across Canada and Sunday’s Georgina Spring Fling served as a great opportunity for many marathoners aiming for an early-season Boston qualification mark. With a fast and flat course along Ontario’s picturesque Lake Simcoe, Georgina Spring Fling is a popular early-season race for many. The race weekend also included a half-marathon, 10K and 5K races.

In the women’s race, the top nine women ran under 3:30, with several landing well below the Boston qualification cut-off time for their respective age-group categories.
