How to watch the 2024 World XC Championships

Athletics Canada has sent a total of 28 athletes to compete in Belgrade, Serbia

The 2024 World Cross Country (XC) Championships are here, and Athletics Canada has sent a full team of 28 runners to compete in Belgrade, Serbia, on Saturday. The team comprises some of the top U20 and senior-level distance runners from across Canada, who will compete against some of the world’s best, including Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegei, and the reigning world XC champions Beatrice Chebet and Jacob Kiplimo at Belgrade’s Friendship Park on the banks of the Danube.

How to watch?

For those interested, the 2024 World XC Championships can be streamed live on World Athletics Inside Track. Canadians can tune in to CBC Sports and the CBC Gem app for live coverage starting with the U20 races at 5:30 a.m. ET, followed by the senior races at 7:45 a.m. ET for women and 8:30 a.m. ET for men.
