Kieran Lumb is a National champion distance runner and the Canadian record holder in the 3,000m. After making his World Athletics Championships debut earlier this year and signing a professional contract with On, Lumb’s stock is rising steadily. He joins The Shakeout Podcast to preview his final race of the year, where he’ll compete at the Canadian Cross Country Championships.

Lumb also breaks down how his alma mater, the University of British Columbia, captured the U Sports Cross Country Championship last weekend, why he won’t wear a Garmin, and what he believes to be the purest running distance.
