Reid Coolsaet and Rachel Hannah are the STWM brewmasters

Today at the Henderson Brewing Company, Reid Coolsaet and Rachel Hannah were helping brew the official beer of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. The beer is an easy drinking, citrus forward beer that’s specifically blended for runners to enjoy post-race. 

Henderson is a Toronto based brewing company that is making a speciality beer for the race. The collaboration will be called the Ides of October.

Hannah won’t be racing Scotiabank as she’s coming off an impressive race in Berlin, finishing in 2:42:57 after an bone injury that left her sidelined for over a year, but she will certainly be at the race cheering on her fellow Canadians. 

Coolsaet is set to race the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. The two-time Olympian and second-fastest marathoner in Canadian history is looking to have a good one on October 21st.

A free pour of the STWM official beer will be available at the Craft Beer Market at Yonge and Adelaide (500m from the finish line) post-race with a participants’ bib.
