U Sports cross country and indoor track & field championships to be nationally televised

U Sports and CBC Sports reach an exclusive deal to become the digital broadcaster of all U Sports National Championships

For the first time, the Canadian U Sports cross country and track and field championships will be nationally televised on CBC Sports. This broadcasting deal with CBC will cover this year’s championships and will run until 2025.

In the 2019-2020 U Sports season, CBC Sports only covered six national championships (football, basketball and soccer), now increasing their coverage from six to all 19 men’s and women’s U Sports Championships for this year.
