The regular registration deadline for the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon is just days away on Sept. 15. To date, over 7,200 registrations have been received for all four events – the marathon, half-marathon, 8K and the Thrifty Foods Kids Run. It is expected that there will be an increase in registrations over the next few days before the late registration fees apply.
All four races have been capped, the marathon is at 2,100, half-marathon at 5,600, 8K at 3,500 and the kids run at 1,300. There are only 220 spots left in the marathon.
“Whether it is your first time to participate in one of the events or your 100th, there is still time to register and prepare your body and mind for race day,” says Cathy Noel, general manager of the event. “The 35th Annual Event is a tremendous milestone for the organizing committee and we challenge everyone […] to celebrate and take part in the anniversary year of the marathon.”
The regular marathon entry fee is $110. The deadline also applies to the half-marathon and the 8K, where the fees are $85 and $45. After Sept. 15 late registration fees will apply.
