16 must-see memorable race finishes from 2016
Races from 2016 produced some incredible finishes including memorable moments, controversial decisions and heartwarming scenes.
Especially with the passing of the Rio Olympics, this year saw many great race finishes including close battles, inspirational moments and, on occasion, controversial moments that led to lengthy conversations. (Shaunae Miller’s “dive” at the Olympics, for example.)
With 2016 approaching its closing stages, Canadian Running will be counting down some of the best moments, stories, gadgets and milestones of 2016. Our first installment relates to race finishes and, fortunately, most, if not all, were captured on video.
