There were nail-biting finishes and records galore at the San Silvestre de Sao Paulo 15K, the Hakone Ekiden Relay and the Hamilton Boxing Day 10 Miler.

Former track star Diane Clement was named as a member of The Order of Canada. We recount her remarkable life and career (thus far!). Current star Molly Huddle helped successfully pass a bill in the United States House of Representatives that would “criminalize doping conspiracies”. Finally, Canadians took to the podium in multiple distances at the Across the Years trail race in Phoenix, AZ. Most impressively, Dennene Huntley Pangle of Edmonton took the overall win in the 72-hour event with a stunning 380 kilometres!
