Stafford is a University of Toronto student pursuing a degree is psychology. During her time as a Varsity Blue she has helped the team to multiple national titles.

She raced in the London Diamond League several weeks ago and placed fourth, running a blazing 8:45.67 3,000m. Stafford gave a glimpse into the Diamond League experience, “Runners are walked onto the track six minutes before their events. And then the gun goes. Once the gun has gone, it’s up to the runner to prove themselves. On the start line it’s exciting and nerve-racking. These opportunities are so hard to get, and you don’t want to blow it. You can’t risk future chances of getting these opportunities.”

Stafford has proven herself as an athlete deserving Diamond League race entrance. This weekend she gets another chance to prove herself in the NACAC final.
