VIDEO: An alternative use of a treadmill that’s been viewed 120K times
"Because there are many different ways to use a treadmill, here's another one," Kylie Shea Lewallen says of her ballet workout, which she filmed and posted on Instagram.
Kylie Shea Lewallen shared an alternative way to use a treadmill on Instagram on Monday.
Rather than doing a tempo workout, an easy run or a long run, the professional dancer, model, and actress performed a ballet routine on the treadmill. She’s able to maintain balance as the treadmill belt moves at a relatively low speed. It appears she traded in her running footwear for pointe shoes.

“Because there are many different ways to use a treadmill, here’s another one,” she captioned the Instagram post. “I’ve been envisioning this for many months and finally filmed it during my latest trip to New York City on a whim at 3 a.m. Don’t ever be afraid to get creative with your workouts.”
The perhaps lesser-known way of using a treadmill has been viewed more than 120,000 times since Jan. 23. In 2015, treadmill dancing went viral when Carson Dean appeared on Ellen after he shared a video on his Facebook.
