Our winner of the BMO 2014 Vancouver Marathon contest is …

The winner of our contest to win a trip to the BMO 2014 Vancouver Marathon is Andrew Jacobs!

Jacobs is a 20-year-old student at the University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus and runs with their cross-country team. His birthday is a day before the event, which will make him 21 on the day of the race. The BMO Vancouver Marathon will be his debut at the distance. He’s raced plenty of distances, including a 50K ultramarathon, but this will be his first marathon.

Jacobs sent in this great video of him in different race shirts explaining why we should pick him as our contest winner. The video is great, but his bad pun at the end really sealed the deal.

It all sounds like a pretty good birthday gift!
