In the latest episode of The Shakeout Podcast, the four founders from Slowpokes Run Club join the podcast to discuss how to make your running goals more accessible in 2024. Just over a year ago, runners Lucas, Pete, Neil and Marco looked around the Canadian running scene and decided there was a gap in run clubs guaranteeing an accessible running experience. Soon after, they launched SlowPokes Run Club, a group dedicated to offering Saturday social runs at a pace welcome to beginners and running veterans alike.

Throughout our interview, the founders discuss the logistics of starting a run club in four major cities, the importance of accessibility in running, and how you, too, can fall in love with the sport in 2024.
